Mission Monday

Mission Monday #1

I would like to read and finish The Darkest Minds this week even though I've been really busy with school work and other things, I want to get back into reading. I would also like to start reading Don't Look Back by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I've heard great things on both of these books so I'm excited for them.

New Series

Dangerous Creatures (Dangerous Creatures, #1)

Have you guys ever heard of Beautiful Creatures, well now there is a new series by the same author named Dangerous Creatures. From what I've read it seems pretty good and I will be hopefully picking it up once it comes out. Dangerous Creatures come out May 20th, 2014.
Synopsis:

A new series returns to the world of Beautiful Creatures. Some loves are cursed...others are dangerous.

Ridley Duchannes will be the first to tell you that she's a bad girl. She's Dark. She's a Siren. You can never trust her, or even yourself when she's around. Lucky for her, Wesley "Link" Lincoln can never seem to remember that; quarter Incubus or not, his heart is Mortal when it comes to Ridley. When Link heads to New York City to start a music career, Ridley goes along for the ride-and she has her own reasons. As if leaving small-town Gatlin for the big city, trying to form a band, and surviving life with a partially reformed Siren isn't hard enough already, Link soon learns he has a price on his head that no Caster or Mortal can ever pay.

Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl, the #1 New York Times bestselling coauthors of Beautiful Creatures, are back and casting another magical spell. Their signature mixture of mystery, suspense, and romance, along with a dash of fun and danger, will pull fans in and leave them begging for more.

To Be Read Thursday

To Be Read Thursday:

My first book on my to be read of the week would be The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken. I've only just started it so I can't tell if it is good or not. If you have read it please comment on what you thought of it.

Next I want to continue Talented by Sophie Davis, just like The Darkest Minds, I have just started it so again I don't know how I'm going to like it, but I think so far I will quite enjoy this read.

I also just picked up Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige, so I want to get right on to reading that.

Now if any of you have read any of these books for sure comment and tell me what you thought of it.

Wishlist Wednesday

Wishlist Wednesday:
#1 The Archived

I've heard so much about this book on Youtube and also on blogs. It sounds so good and I would really like to read this so it is on the top of my wishlist. This will probably be one of the next books I purchase. The Archived by Victoria Schwab seems like a really interesting idea and concept on a book. If any of you have read this book please comment on what you thought of it.

Review of An Abundance of Katherines

When it comes to relationships, Colin Singleton's type is girls named Katherine. And when it comes to girls named Katherine, Colin is always getting dumped. Nineteen times, to be exact. On a road trip miles from home, this anagram-happy, washed-up child prodigy has ten thousand dollars in his pocket, a bloodthirsty feral hog on his trail, and an overweight, Judge Judy-loving best friend riding shotgun - but no Katherines. Colin is on a mission to prove The Theorem of Underlying Katherine Predictability, which he hopes will predict the future of any relationship, avenge Dumpees everywhere, and finally win him the girl.

Goodreads        Amazon

I absolutely loved this book. It was such a cute and fun read. The relationships in this book were so unique and so were the characters. When reading this book I really liked looking at the little notes that were written at the bottom of the page, it made this book very unique and special. I have never read anything like this. I would recommend this book to anyone. I feel like even if you didn't like this genre you would still enjoy this book. Colin was a very cool character, he sometimes annoyed me with his thinking and how he would act. But overall I still really liked this Colin and his relationships with his friends.

Looking for Alaska Review

Today I just finished the book, "Looking for Alaska". Having read other books by John Green, I can honestly say that I was not at all disappointed. John Green once again introduces us to fascinating new philosophies about life. It impacts and enlightens you in a way that makes this book and unforgettable read. It will make you question everything about life, death, love, and friendship. Looking for Alaska was nothing short of brilliant. I recommend this book to everyone. I give this 5 out of 5 stars. - Abby
